Torre del Ricetto

The entrance to the village illustrates well what remains of the original fortified area. The area is still crowned by the Defense Tower, of probable medieval origin, created for defense of the ancient fortified village. The original tower was crowned by battlements and did not have a roof. On the sides facing the village it was completely open in order to facilitate, by means of pulleys, the transfer of projectiles to the tower's upper floors.
