Wooded hills surround the course of Ticino and its canals in the Varese section of the cycle path that connects Sesto Calende to Pavia, for a total of 120 kilometres.
The cycle path connecting Sesto Calende to Pavia represents a route of great interest to the enthusiasts of the two wheels. With its 120 kilometers of stretch of flat route along the River Ticino course, it is possible to plan pleasant rides suitable for everyone. The itinerary draws the longitudinal backbone of the Ticino Park, the largest river park in Europe, and follows the contours of the river from the province of Varese, where it flows through Lake Maggiore, leaving the lake at the town of Sesto Calende to finally reach Pavia, where it flows into the river Po.
