Santuario San Pancrazio (XVII sec)

Throughout antiquity, the Sanctuary of Saint Pancrazio was well known in the surrounding alpine region for the traumatic power of the saint of the same name. The construction was  erected by order of the Marquis of Pianezza, Giacinto Simiana and founded on the site of the church of Saint Pancrazio where, according to tradition, a miracle occurred in the year 1450. First a monument and then a church with adjacent cemetery were built on the site.
